Dr. William Lindsey is a double board certified surgeon and hair transplant expert. He graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science in 1986. From there, he completed medical school at the University of Virginia in 1990. He then entered a residency in Otolaryngology (ear/nose/throat) & Head/Neck Surgery at University of Virginia. After completing his Head and Neck Surgery residency with distinction in 1995, he completed a specialized fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. After graduating fellowship, he served as an assistant professor of Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia and George Washington University Medical Center before moving into private practice. By this time, Dr Lindsey was double board certified (Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery); however, he decided to further his skill by learning more about surgical hair restoration. He trained in hair transplant surgery with Dr Alan Feller, and, together, they built a true hair transplant institute in McLean, Virginia. Dr Lindsey now has over 25 years of hair transplant experience, including FUT megasession procedures, refined FUE procedures, and delicate repair work.
