Diagnosis: 1,800 Graft Frontal Band Rebuild
This patient is a male of Indian-descent who presented with classic “frontal band” thinning. The patient was in his 50’s at the time, and it seemed like his hair loss was isolated solely to this region. Because this frontal thinning bothered him for years and it seemed like the hair loss was fairly stable, he decided to seek surgical restoration. We evaluated the area and determined he would be an appropriate candidate for a dense pack rebuild of the frontal band area. Using 1,800 grafts removed via the FUT technique, we rebuild a soft, natural hairline, and densely packed the band region behind it. The patient returned 12 months later, very pleased with the results.
