Diagnosis: FUE Hairline Rebuild
This patient is a male in his 30’s who presented with classic thinning in the “corners” of his hairline. These corners are one of the first areas affected by genetic male pattern hair loss, and, because of this, “fixing” these are one of the most common requests we receive. Based on the number of grafts he required and the patient’s hair type, we believed he would be a good candidate for the Follicular Unit Excision or FUE procedure. Using a slow, considered approach with only manual tools, we carefully removed 600 grafts and implanted approximately 300 per side. The patient returned 15 months after surgery, and clearly the rebuild plan worked. The transition between the patient’s native hair and the FUE grafts is undetectable, and the entire hairline region now appears full and natural.
