Diagnosis: FUT Mega-Session Transformation

This patient is a male in his 40’s who presented with Norwood IV Class hair loss. He wanted to restore as much of the frontal and mid-scalp as possible, then grow his hair longer to blend with the remaining hair he had in the posterior mid-scalp and crown. Using the FUT technique, we removed 3,000 grafts in a single strip harvest. We used these grafts to rebuild an appropriate hairline, which would age well, densely pack the frontal scalp behind it, and strategically work back through the mid-scalp to meet, and transition into, his native hair. The surgery went well and the plan was executed as expected. The patient returned 12 months later completely transformed. We think his smile says it all!
