Diagnosis: Norwood stage 5. Repair of old hair transplant surgery performed elsewhere. Complete loss of hairline and top.

At the time of his original hair transplant this patient had most of his own hair. He only looked to hair transplants to thicken his thinning hair. But as he lost his original hair his clumpy hair transplants began to look more and more obvious. Ultimately he completely lost his natural hairline leaving only the transplants. We decided to leave his old hair transplants and blend them in using new follicular units. We packed out the hairline and the front portion of the scalp being careful to only use one hair grafts on the hairline. The after photos were taken 18 months after his procedure.
