Diagnosis: Complete crown hair loss.

Replacing hair in the crown of the head is by the far the most challenging for any hair transplant surgeon. The angles vary greatly compared to any other hair transplant surgery and it requires lots and lots of grafts to make the final result worthwhile. In this particular case this young man had good hair in the front but lost the entire crown. We decided to implant 3,500 grafts in a single visit. He was an unusually fast grower as may be seen in his 6 month “after” photo.
