Bloodwork Needed Prior to Hair Transplant Surgery

Feller & Bloxham Hair Transplantation requires all patients to have preoperative blood work done and results submitted to our office at least two weeks prior to their hair transplantation procedure.

Blood work may be performed by your own physician or at an outside laboratory of your choosing. The charge is usually under $250. Feller & Bloxham Hair Transplantation does not profit in any way from this lab work.

Incoming patients may email us an original copy of their blood work results or fax a copy to (516) 466-8356. Overseas patients should absolutely account for time differences or communication limitations by proactively submitting blood work well in advance, as it can take time to obtain. You may well need to pay a small fee to get these arranged. Please note that it can take up to 14 days to actually get the report of your blood work. You must factor this time frame into the preparation before surgery.
