2,500 Graft Frontal Rebuild

This patient is a male in his 30’s who presented with thinning throughout the entire frontal half of the scalp. The patient believed the thinning made him look older, and he was eager to look and feel like himself again. The patient requested a conservative, but dense, hairline, and a fill throughout the entire frontal half of the scalp. We evaluated the patient and determined that 2,500 grafts were appropriate based off of his excellent hair characteristics. Utilizing the FUT technique, we removed these grafts and used them to: rebuild a new hairline using only single-hair follicular units grafts, densely pack the “frontal band” area, and then strategically fill the rest of the frontal scalp behind it. The patient returned 12 months later, and we think his smile really says it all.
